I’m a reptile caretaker, breeder, and educator. Welcome to my little corner of the internet! Here you can find information about the animals in my care, how I care for them, and the work we do together to reframe common misconceptions about reptiles.

Our mission

Our mission focuses in 3 areas of the reptile keeping hobby:

  1. Educate people about misunderstandings and misconceptions about snakes and other reptils to work towards lessoning the pervasive mythological fear about snakes.
  2. Encourage elevated care and husbandry standards standards throughout the reptile keeping hobby.
  3. Being a different kind of reptile breeder who
    • Values every animal intrinsically as an individual
    • Prioritizes personality and tractability in our hatchlings over looks & genetics
    • Keep hatchlings with high husbandry standards including tall tanks, individually controlled ambient heat, light cycling, climbing enrichment in large, front-facing enclosures
    • Keeping few enough hatchlings that we can provide high interaction, enrichment and socialization starting from a very young age

 

We believe that focusing on these values allows us to provide truly exceptional pets that are fun to spend time with (in addition to being super pretty!)
